Bakery products from 759

759 was a shop selling preserved packaged food to start off with and now they have expanded into other businesses such as cosmetics, noodle joints and now a bakery too!
I wonder if we will see 759 Medical clinics, 759 Barbers, 759 Laundry, 759 Petrol Stations coming soon!!!

Initially 759 didn't appeal to me because the variety was limited and it was cheap and unhealthy packaged Asian snacks like noodles and crisps but now there is more European variety and they even have TIMOTEI shampoo.

I was curious to try their bakery because I love bread but in Hong Kong, it is either proper Western Bread or Sweet tasting savoury Chinese bread.

Walked past one day and bought some bread and muffins.
You can probably use your membership card on the purchase but I forgot to use mine and the lady at the till didn't remind me.

Double chocolate muffin:

The muffin was not outstanding but at least it looked like a muffin with pieces of chocolate in it.
It was not impressive but it was not too sweet, too oily or too crumbly.

Tomato corn toast:

Technically it is bread because it hasn't been toasted yet and it probably tastes better as a toast.
With good breads, they taste great on their own but the tomato bread required a filling to make it into a tasty sandwich.
The tomato taste was surprisingly good because you could taste tomato in almost every bite but saying that it was probably tomato flavouring mixed in the dough.
There were also pieces of sweetcorn in it too but I still classify this as a Chinese style bread because it was sweet and the texture of the bread was evidently Chinese and not yeasty at all.
