A swing of Italian flair at the WTC at No.5 Italian

Tried this restaurant because it was a new branch of the No.5 Italian at Tai Hang.

The environment was modern and comfortable with a nice seaview.

Started off with bread which was held in a flour bag.

Then we had juicy grilled portobello mushrooms with cheese and sweet balsamic vinegar.

It was followed by a creative plate of caramel apple salad.
The apples were sweet with a fragrant buttery taste.

After that we had toast with Iberian ham and white truffle.
The saltiness of the Iberian ham went well with the white truffle.

Next was my favourite because the pizza had ham and fig which was scrumptious, the amount of ham on the pizza was generous.

For the main course we had linguine in creamy white truffle sauce which I felt was too creamy.

Then we had Silician red prawn risotto which was my favourite because it was flavourful with chunks of prawn and asparagus in the risotto.

Last but not least the beef cheek with parpadelle was marvellous because the beef cheek was extremely soft and gelatinous and the parpadelle hung that delicious sauce on it.
